Page designs
Home, about and landing pages are designed again as reusable Shopify sections your team can edit.
Wix is a website builder with a store attached. When the store becomes the main business, merchants hit its limits: fewer commerce integrations, weaker product data, and a site that has to be redesigned rather than exported.
Partly. Wix exports products to CSV and lets you download contacts, but designs, pages and blog layouts do not export. A Wix to Shopify migration therefore moves the data and rebuilds the design as a Shopify theme, with each /product-page/ URL redirected to its new /products/ address.
Home, about and landing pages are designed again as reusable Shopify sections your team can edit.
Posts are moved with their images and dates, and redirected, since Wix has no full blog export.
Images are re-downloaded at full resolution and attached to the right variants, instead of Wix’s resized copies.
Stock tracked per warehouse or shop, with transfers, instead of a single stock number.
GCC payment methods, couriers, loyalty and marketplaces available as tested integrations.
Metafields for specs, ingredients or sizes that drive filters and rich search results.
Each legacy pattern gets a 301 redirect to its Shopify equivalent, tested before the domain moves.
/product-page/<slug> /products/<handle> /category/<slug> /collections/<handle> /post/<slug> /blogs/news/<handle> /<page> /pages/<handle> Small stores leaving Wix often keep books in spreadsheets. Moving to Shopify and ZaadBooks together gives a small team VAT-ready invoices from every order without hiring a bookkeeper to re-key them.
Not if URLs are redirected. Wix and Shopify use different URL patterns, so we map every product, category, page and blog URL to its Shopify equivalent with a 301 redirect before the domain moves.
Yes. If the domain was bought through Wix it can be transferred or pointed to Shopify; we handle DNS so email on the domain keeps working.
Day to day it is similar: products, orders and pages are edited in an admin, and the theme editor works visually. We train your team on the new store before launch.
The design and page layouts are rebuilt; product data, customers and blog text are moved. For a typical small store, most of the effort is design, which is also where the new store gains the most.
